And You Thought, That You Had Been Through Shit In Your Life

Well, today, while browsing my Instagram Feed, I came across a post that caught my attention, so I decided to dig a little deeper, and was blown away, by the video that I came across.

We are all faced with never-ending challenges, on a daily basis. In the moment, most of us would over react, and think that we are going through hell, until we hear someone else’s story. Then, we realize that, whatever we went through was just a tea-party, compared to what someone else, might have gone through.

1 Page Website – Cheap, Simple And Effective

Sometimes the simplest websites, are the most effective websites. As a web designer, I love just opening up a blank page, and creating something. Coding is addictive, and I love it.

As a web designer, I love just going back to the basics, and starting with a blank 1 Page Website. Funny enough, I do the same thing when I’m designing a Joomla, or WordPress Template. I hate buying commercial templates, or stock photography, because this just makes the end-result, feel so generic and fake.

Web Design – Small Business Websites Durban South Africa

Well, its been awhile since my last blog post. I’m sorry, I have been extremely busy, and quite tired in the evenings. There has been a lot going on, in the past few weeks. I’m currently working as a full-time web designer for a company at the moment, and this blog is just a hobby of mine.

But, I’m thinking of getting back into building websites, for small business owners again. I miss it, and I enjoy working with entrepreneurs that are truely passionate about their business. There is no one more dedicated, passionate, persistent and hard-working, as the owner of any small business.

Get Back To Work – Writing Everything Down

Well, it’s 2018 and it’s time to get back to work. And the best way to do this is to write down, everything that you have to do. Don’t worry about what order it is in, just write it down.

The first day back at work can be extremely overwhelming. You have probably received hundreds of emails while you were on leave. Open all of them, and browse through them, but don’t get distracted. Just be aware of everything that needs get done.

Durban Graffiti -We all need a bit of creativity and colour in our lives

On boxing day, we decided to get out of the house for awhile. Sometimes I enjoy just going for a drive, and seeing where we land up. I have lived in Durban, for most of my life, and this place can get pretty boring after awhile.

Well, some how we landed up in Umbilo, which is a few minutes out of town. It’s a shame that this area is looking so run down, these days. For some reason, the graffiti, on the Winston Pub, caught my eye, and I had to stop and take a few photos. It probably wasn’t the safest place in the world, to climb out of the car, but I had to do it.

Merry Christmas – Durban South Africa

I just wanted to take the chance to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Thank you for all your support. It’s been an amazing year, and I have learned so much. I’m glad that I started this blog, and I hope that over the next year, I am able to take it to the next level.

It’s been a tough year, and there have been times when I have felt like giving up. It’s hard to be working a fulltime job, while trying to work on your passion on the sideline. I have been writing for over 6 months now, and sometimes it feels like I’m wasting my time, and no one is listening. But, I believe that even if I can help one person out there, then I have achieved what I wanted to achieve.

Simple HTML Websites

Simple HTML Websites can come in handy when you don’t have the money to spend on a full-blown, database-driven website. Over the past few years, I have had a lot of people asking me for just a cheap and simple website. They just don’t have the money to spend on a full-blown website or online marketing. In most situations, all that they want is a logo and contact details.

Even though a Simple HTML Website like this, looks simple to build, it still takes a lot of time to write the code, or customize the website, to suit the customer’s needs. The advantage of a website like this is that there is no big and bulky database needed. It makes a great landing page, for when people might type in your domain name, or try search for your company online.

Renew Your South African Drivers Licence

Well, today I had to go renew my driver’s license, and all I can say is that it’s the worst experience that I have had in awhile. If you live in South Africa, you will know what I mean.

Apart from being the dirtiest place that I have ever seen, it is also the most inefficient and unorganized chaos, that you could imagine. The staff just happens to treat everyone like sheep, poking them and prodding them throughout the process.

Creating A Digital Marketing Strategy For 2018

Every company should have a digital marketing strategy, especially if you are a small business owner. It’s hard to compete with the bigger companies when you just don’t have as much money to spend on marketing.

The best part about marketing online is that you will be able to track your results. But don’t waste your money. It’s easy to get carried away, when you haven’t created a digital marketing strategy. You will probably land up wasting a lot of money, if you don’t know what you are doing.

Learning To Write – Dealing With Criticism

Well, this year I decided to learn how to write. And, after 125 articles, I still don’t know if I’m any good at it. Today, is one of those days, that I just don’t know what to write about.

Actually, I have written a few things, in the past few days, but I just couldn’t get anything completed. Somehow, it feels as if I have hit a brick wall, and as I’m writing this, I don’t quite know, where I’m headed with this article.

Somehow, I have let people get to me, emotionally. It’s amazing how many people will criticize you, and tell you that you are wasting your time. This weekend, I had a family member tell me that it’s impossible for me to become a motivational speaker, because I haven’t done anything successful in my life.
